There has recently been a news about House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, R-Texas and the use of his wife and daughter on the campaign as paid employees. Well, maybe the Democrats should have picked their battle a little further from home. This list compiled from the AP, a list of politicians that have family members on the payroll just surfaced.

It appears that the Republicans aren't the only ones that see hiring family members as a acceptable way to keep family close to the campaign. In all, six Democrats and seven Republicans had various family members serving on their campaigns. Instead of crucifying one member of Congress that had many others doing the same, we should set new limits and rules for campaigning. Allow people to know what the rules are before calling foul.
